On the road again...

A little sneak peak into John Kalman's flights after Christmas. He was entertained by his neighbors, played with his rubber worm, and took a good long nap in his daddy's arms. (So sweet!)

Climber

John Kalman learned a few things on our trip to Nashville.
On his first day there, NiNi put him on the stairs to see what he would do. His climbing instincts kicked in, and he immediately started toward the top. It took him a little while to master it, but by his second or third attempt, he could climb an entire flight of stairs! (We never did teach him how to go DOWN the stairs... I guess that will happen on his next trip.)

Enjoy!

Determination

As you've no doubt seen on this blog, John Kalman is a little bit camera crazy. Every time I turn the thing on, he stops what he's doing and stares the camera down. His new obsession is trying to get the camera to put it in his mouth. Here's a video in which all his dreams come true!

Avocado... que rico

John Kalman loves avocado. When I'm feeling really nice, I let him take off his clothes and feed himself. Oh, independence.

Hungry Boy

JK does not like to watch other people eating if he doesn't get to partake. We took him out to lunch on Saturday and he had to eat the menu to entertain himself.

Stoking the fire...

Now that John Kalman is on the go, he is busy exploring our living room. For some reason, he loves the fireplace. I keep finding him licking the brick and trying to stand up. I have a feeling there will be some black eyes and bruises in his future.

Here is a video of his latest trick.

Ho Ho Ho

When we were in Seattle this past weekend, we took John Kalman and Emma to go see Santa Claus. Since John Kalman can't talk yet, Emma had to be the one to deliver his wishlist to Santa. She told him "All he wants for Christmas are his two top teeth."

We'll see if he gets em!
